Erstmals gelang es einem Menschen die außergewöhnlichsten Plätze aller Kontinente mit dem wohl einfachsten Fluggerät zu befliegen. Riesen Freude beim Tuninger Gleitschirmhersteller, der mit diesem Projekt eine weitere Bestätigung seiner High-Tech Flügel sieht und das Unternehmen in seinem Vorreiterstatus bestärkt. Die Herausforderung war sehr groß, um dem Ausnahmepiloten für die widrigsten und teils herausfordernden Flugbedingungen das perfekte Material an die Hand zu geben. So musste der beste Mix zwischen Minimalgewicht und Haltbarkeit gefunden werden. Die oberste Maxime liegt jedoch bei der Sicherheit, dafür sorgt die Tuninger Entwicklungsschmiede mit unzähligen technischen Features und setzt mit ihren Produkten kontinuierlich höhere Sicherheitsstandards in der Gleitschirmszene.

Peter Loncar gehört zur Weltelite der Gleitschirmpiloten und schreckt vor keinem Abenteuer zurück. Der Weltenbummler stammt aus Serbien und lernte dort auch Gleitschirmfliegen. Er ist Teil vom U-Turn Akrobatik Team und vertraut seit mehreren Jahren auf die Qualitäts-Flügel von U-Turn.

Der Herzblut Abenteurer träumte schon lange von seinem Vorhaben, die spektakulärsten Flecken aller Kontinente mit dem Gleitschirm zu befliegen. Mit seinem jüngsten Flug in Australien lässt er seine kühne Vision Realität werden. Insgesamte bereiste er 65 Länder.

Begonnen hat das Abenteuer für Loncar in Europa, wo er unzählige Flugspots mit dem Gleitschirm bereiste, darunter auch das bekannte Flugparadies Oludeniz in der Türkei, was aufgrund der enormen Höhendifferenz auch oft zum Gleitschirm Akrobatik Training genutzt wird. Afrika befliegt der Ausnahmepilot durch Teile von Namibia und später die spektakulärsten Spots in Kapstadt, dazu gehören Tafelberg und Lions Head. Den Asiatischen Kontinenten bereiste der Abenteurer von Mongolien aus und fliegt da in der Wüste Gobi, wo er während mehreren Tagen keine Verbindung zur Außenwelt hat. In absoluter Einsamkeit und ohne Handyempfang fliegt er zwei Tage entfernt zur nächsten Zivilisation. Die Temperaturschwankungen und Wüstenklima fordern seine Physis und verlangen vom Material alles ab. Bei solchen Vorhaben muss man sich zu hundert Prozent auf sein Equipment verlassen könne, rühmt Loncar das Tuninger Unternehmen.

Von der Wüste reiste er nach Indien und Pakistan, wo er sich mit den hochalpinen Verhältnissen und Extremen Höhen des Himalaya Gebirge konfrontiert sieht. Epische Flüge in Höhen von über 6000 Metern – dabei gelang ihm ein 7h Flug mit mehr als 190km Distanz in dünner und eisiger Luft. Den Nordamerikanischen Kontinenten befliegt Loncar vor der eindrucksvollen urbanen Kulisse Vancouvers. Fast durch jedes Land bereist Petar den Südamerikanischen Kontinenten mit seinem Gleitschirm, wobei er Chile, Ecuador und Patagonien auf seiner Liste ganz nach oben setzen würde. Die wohl schwierigste Herausforderung und somit das extremste Abenteuer stellt für den erfahrenen Flieger die beeindruckenden Eislandschaft der Antarktis dar. Das unzugängliche Gelände, starke Winde und extreme Minusgrade, machten das befliegen zur Herausforderung und brachten nicht nur den Piloten sondern auch das Material an die Grenzen der Belastbarkeit. Wenn sich unsere Gleitschirme in solchen Extremsituationen behaupten können, weiß man den hohen Entwicklungsaufwand wieder ganz anders wertzuschätzen so der U-Turn Gründer Thomas Vosseler. Als letzten Kontinenten befliegt Petar Loncar Australien, wo er in einem Streckenflug über Manilla sein Traum verwirklichte.

Loncar fühlt sich privilegiert, das zu tun was er liebt und die beeindruckenden Orte dieser Welt bereisen zu können. Petar Loncar ist stolz darauf, sich als erster professioneller serbischer Acro-Gleitschirm Pilot zu bezeichnen. Nach seinem Militärdienst konzentrierte sich Petar auf den Flugsport und entwickelte eine Faszination für Akrobatik Gleitschirmfliegen. In Serbien gab es praktisch keine Flugszene im Akrobatikbereich, aber nach seiner ersten Live-Begegnung im Jahr 2007 war Petar begeistert. Er perfektionierte fortan einige der schwierigsten Tricks im Akrobatik-Gleitschirm fliegen, einschließlich dem Infinity-Tumbling, was die Aufmerksamkeit der Akro-Piloten auf der ganzen Welt auf sich zog.
